Alex Dadon

 

I was born in New York City on February 24th, 1992. When I was about 6, my family moved to Fort Lee NJ and I began taking violin, piano, and voice lessons with Jeanette Donato at her studio in Teanneck. She opened up my eyes - and ears - to music, and I was hooked ever since. Violin became my primary instrument.

In high school I was heavily involved in all of the performing arts - marching band (where I learned percussion), orchestra, choir, and musical theater. I recently graduated Montclair State University with a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance (Violin), and a minor in Musical Theater. I'm currently attending MSU for my Master's in music education (MAT). I work at Andy's Family Music Center in Livingston, as a private strings teacher. And if you happen to stop by the Trader Joe's in Edgewater, you may see me there as well. :)
